Amicus Court Reporters Offers Complimentary CLE Seminar

Amicus Court Reporters is offering a 1.5 hour CLE seminar accredited by the Illinois MCLE Board. Entitled "Taking Effective Depositions Using Today's Technology", this informative and timely presentation is geared for presentation during your firm's lunch hour. Presenters discuss current court reporting techniques, offer insight into what Amicus Court Reporters offers to our clients and informs you of today's state of the art video processes. With rapidly changing technology and a generation of juries, judges and lawyers raised on cyber spoons, it is vital for all attorneys to stay abreast of what is available to you and opposing counsel. Learn how to use it while protecting the admissibility of evidence.

Technology can make your depositions more effective and strengthen your case, both in the discovery process and for trial presentation. Experience the new "Smart Board" video presentation, and learn how to take a "Super Deposition" that not only video tapes your witness, but has the capability of running the transcript under the video. Exhibits are linked in an interactive fashion to create an impressive experience for juries or influence opposing counsel toward settlement. This valuable seminar is offered at no charge to clients of Amicus. For further information, please contact Stewart Karge at 312-641-3500.

Talamo Court Reporters is now Amicus Court Reporters

Talamo Court Reporters, operating in downtown Chicago and the surrounding suburbs for over 20 years, has changed its name to Amicus Court Reporters. Amicus Covers Deposition in Seoul, Korea

Recently Amicus Court Reporters covered a deposition for a client in Seoul, Korea. Amicus offered its client two options, to send one of our in-house court reporters to accompany the attorney, or provide a reporter from one of our network partners in the Pacific Rim. Our client chose the latter, and we arranged for the reporter to meet our client in Korea. The transcript was electronically transmitted to Amicus, where we produced and delivered it within our standard ten business day time frame.
